What was the other book project?

Personally, I enjoy your writing no matter what form it takes!

Wasn't it supposed to be made of the contributions to the contest about something and chocolate? I remember writing a sonnet for it, but don't know whether the e-book had been made for the Fruitbat Boardello. _________________ "If you allow yourself to be offended, then you're a bit of [a] nitwit."

Yeah, "Christmas and Explosions" or something. Or possibly chocolate. _________________ It finally happened. My conscience stopped working. I've never felt so free.

I write for the Blog for fun, mainly. I'm also answering a lot of e-mails every day. I don't know, really, where work ends and fun writing begins, which I suppose is a good thing. I like writing comedy pieces and essays for the blogs, but it gets discouraging because someone always tells me I need to get back to work.
*sigh* I hate that someone has to say stuff like that to you - nothing like the constant pressure to work. Anyway they should be happy that you're blogging too. Gives them a little bit of the AG between books. _________________ "Doug's okay." - Deb.

I found the original thread; it's called Hell and Hot Chocolate. _________________ "If you allow yourself to be offended, then you're a bit of [a] nitwit."

We do have the capability in shop fruitbat to sell both print books and digital books.
I believe that with a digital book we can put external links to the paintings, if they exist, so we wouldn't run into copyright issues.
The Boardello has enough expertise to assemble the book in an attractive form - Cover art, etc.
Whatever happened to that other book project from a year ago?
Ahh, yes. It's on the TBDASAIC list. Of course if anyone has a little extra time to help it would be appreciated. As it turns out, I'm not the little red hen. _________________ To Learn is to Know

Getting back to the notion of a printed and/or e-book version of Chris' blogs for charity (with or without photos), how about this little idea:
Include in the book (with permission) some artwork or other incidental contributions by the Boardellans (or other things that have been pointed out, like the online drawings/cartoons based on ADJ and TSA)?
After all, wouldn't it be nice to have a book with the AG's Beta-Male Manifesto, his "I Don't Read" and 50th-birthday essays, etc., along with images of ROM's whaley boys, etc.? _________________ "If you allow yourself to be offended, then you're a bit of [a] nitwit."

yes, yes it would. His publisher and agent may have some contractually defined say in the matter. Though, if it were a shop fruitbat publication and all profits go to charity, there may be fewer obstacles. _________________ To Learn is to Know
