Humans Descended from Wet Apes?
I saw this sweet old lady (Elaine Morgan) on a TED talk talking about her theory that modern humans are actually descended from aquatic apes and not savanna apes as most evolutionists think and at first I thought she was full of shit. After listening to her and reading some more about her theory, now I'm not so sure. Give her a listen at her TED speech and then read the site and let me know what you think.

I saw her speak a few years ago. Very convincing. I'm on board with the water ape theory. _________________ And God said: 'Let there be Satan, so people don't blame everything on me. And let there be lawyers, so people don't blame everything on Satan.'

Read a book about this in the early 90's while I was in college. I wonder if it was hers? _________________ White and feathery, yet crude and noisy, the chicken is the backbone of our farming community.

I choose to disagree.
People are descendants of trees. They don't come from apes. Or wet apes.

Cripes, it looks like something out of Dante.
I read recently that non-Africans have something like 1 to 4 % Neanderthal genes in them. And Neanderthals are really interesting. Apparently, they had brains that were about 1400 cc as opposed to our 1200. _________________ There is nowhere I would be than right here, right now, doing exactly what I'm doing.

I just read that whole wet ape theory in Terry Pratchett's The Science of Discworld I last month. It took me a minute to remember where I had read about it but the chapter on evolution presented it as the most likely scenario. _________________ Those who believe in telekinetics, raise my hand
