No real improvement, although he claims he isn't seriously suicidal -- which, I suppose, IS a real improvement. He has turned his life into a soap opera. Maybe he'll come to his senses before he destroys himself.

I just got off the phone with my son. He seems to be doing much better, but he told me his estranged wife has just been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I became very upset, and he kept repeating "she'll be fine, she'll be fine." I pray he's right, but I know better -- with cancer, one just doesn't know what will happen.

Any spare prayers or mojo for my daughter-in-law Angie would be appreciated. God, this is like a bad soap opera.
