FLAMING MEXICAN FLAG for 2/24

February 24th is Mexican Flag Day- celebrate by drinking one of these:
FLAMING MEXICAN FLAG
Creme de Menthe, green 1/2 oz.
Rum, overproof/151 proof 1/2 oz.
Tequila, white 1/2 oz.
Grenadine 1/2 oz.
Glass to Use: Shot glass
Mixing Instructions
Layer into a 2 oz. shooter: grenadine, then creme de menthe, tequila, then 151 on top. Light on fire, then blow out and slam.
SIDE NOTE: When we get these at our local Mexican resturant, we drink them through a straw while they're still flaming!
Of course, you have to drink it quickly before the straw goes up in flames...
I'm not a fan of tequila (read about the Mezcal incident in the DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME... thread in this forum if you want to know why) but I've never noticed the flavor of tequila when drinking one of these...
