So try this easy and tastey Baked Tofu
After draining your extra firm tofu (a step tofu cooks must never forget) slice it int thin strips. Lay them out on a baking sheet and drizzle them with soy sauce, and sprinkle garlic powder, basil, and salt and pepper. Let it sit and soak up the seasonings for about half an hour. Then stick it in the oven at 375 for another half an hour or until its brown and firm.
I like these tofu slices on a sandwich with cheese. It makes me forget that I'm a vegetarian.
