So I stopped by my local Half Priced Books store and I found a hardback copy of Lamb.....first edition.....$5.98......oh yeah.

I had to gloat a little bit. I'm sorry but I had to tell someone.

Join the club!

I managed to snag a 1st ed. Lamb about 2 years ago from an Amazon dealer. Has a remainder mark on the top, but the cover and the book are in great shape. Must have been stashed away out of prying hands. Razz

Those must have been books in hurt cartons, you guys. Lamb went into something like 11 printings, going right up to two months before the paperback came out. There were no remainders. Which is just another way of saying, SCORE!!!

(I didn't even get any "left over" Lambs, and I'm sorta sposed to get first dibs.)

I didn't pay extra, not really (and "Lamb" isn't signed after all...yet Very Happy ). I paid about $20 bucks over MSRP on "Lamb" and about cover + S&H on "Demonkeeping". Not a bad score at all Very Happy
