So I stopped by my local Half Priced Books store and I found a hardback copy of Lamb.....first edition.....$5.98......oh yeah.
I had to gloat a little bit. I'm sorry but I had to tell someone.

I managed to snag a 1st ed. Lamb about 2 years ago from an Amazon dealer. Has a remainder mark on the top, but the cover and the book are in great shape. Must have been stashed away out of prying hands. _________________ "If you allow yourself to be offended, then you're a bit of [a] nitwit."

This books also has the remainder mark on the top edge of the book but the book itself is in very good condition.

Those must have been books in hurt cartons, you guys. Lamb went into something like 11 printings, going right up to two months before the paperback came out. There were no remainders. Which is just another way of saying, SCORE!!!
(I didn't even get any "left over" Lambs, and I'm sorta sposed to get first dibs.)

I didn't pay extra, not really (and "Lamb" isn't signed after all...yet ). I paid about $20 bucks over MSRP on "Lamb" and about cover + S&H on "Demonkeeping". Not a bad score at all _________________ "Jesus... is NOT a zombie... I shouldn't have to tell you that."

I never pass up AG HC's when I'm thrifting, so if there are any others you're missing... _________________ "Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a

Oh heaven's yes Let's see:
"Coyote Blue"
"Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove"
"Island of the Sequined Love Nun"
"Fluke"
"Blood-Sucking Fiends"
I have copies of all of those, but not HC. I've been driving the used book store nuts _________________ "Jesus... is NOT a zombie... I shouldn't have to tell you that."
