no I was too busy noticing the fact taht I was in a condo that was lunsually empty and taht I would never again have cantoulope and bacon for breakfast... I think I was still hurt and too blind to notice but I;'ll rearead the begining..... I vowed to npot read it again since it was too graphic for me.
Leena is excused.... she is crazy but not so much as Molly...
I Finished Island of the Sequined Love Nun. It was of course awsome. I thought it was hilarious when Vincent showed up and started talking to Tuck in the middle of his mouth hug from the Sky Preistess. Well, of course there was plenty of other funny parts but that one sticks out at the moment.

I just finished it this morning.
AG, another amazing book (I'm a little late between when it was written, I know, you'll have to forgive me)
I'm trying to pace myself before I run out of books...
One AG book, one or two non AG book[s], etc
This is going to be difficult _________________ "In the book of life, the answers aren't in the back." - Charlie Brown

One thing that is sticking in my craw... If Tuck crashed the plane outside Seattle, how is he taking off to Guam from Texas?
Mary Jean said she wouldn't take him to texas, and he says that he is in the hospital in seattle and gets put "in a hotel outside of town".
I've read Love Nun twice, (and I friggen' love it by the way) and I think you might be incorrect about a disparity in the book. I think I would have noticed that. I could be wrong, but you might have just missed it. _________________ My Book My Myspace

This is my first post. How exciting!
I just finished "Love Nun" and it was one of my favorite Christopher Moore books (just after Bloodsucking Fiends). I think the part that made me laugh the most was when Tuck's childhood was described and it veeeery closely resembled the plot to a certain Shakespeare play. I'm currently studying Shakespeare so it was a nice surprise - and very funny!

Be sure to look up the possibility that the plot of the Shakespeare play closely resembles an earlier work by someone else. _________________ "If you allow yourself to be offended, then you're a bit of [a] nitwit."

If you re-read you'll see where Mary Jean took him to Texas because they have good dick doctors there and to get him ready for the special olympics in Guam. You remember the part where he gets ambushed by the junkies in the opium den and then takes his laser saber out of the penis pouch the Texas dick doc sewed into it thinking he might want to keep a pen or some spare change in the hole in his sac? _________________ "Make me one with everything.

I just started reading Love-Nun for the first time. I'll probably finish it this weekend.
When Tuck, um, hurt himself in the plane, my eyes started to water, my stomach churned, and I almost literally felt his pain. That's some damn good writing if you can pull that off. _________________ Scruffy|SRD Books

Love Nun is the most perfect book in the world for seamless writing. Don't let me hear any of this Seattle Guam stuff. _________________ Your religion, you miserable man, begins in your stomach and ends in a lavatory - Nodar Dumbadze
