The audio version of A Dirty Job was excellent; Fisher Stevens read the parts very well.

However, Tony Roberts' reading of The Stupidest Angel was not nearly as good. I've encountered several audio books read by Roberts and his performances were uniformly disappointing.

Hopefully, Chris will avoid using Roberts in the future.

I am not sure that is up to AG. I am pretty sure that the publisher decides who reads....but I could be wrong. I didn't think Tony did a particularly "bad' job, but he certainly is not as good as Fisher.

While the publisher may make the final decision, I'm assuming that Chris has some input.

Actually, no. He's said here several times that he usually doesn't know until the audio book is published who's doing the reading.

Sgt_Steve:

Really? I'm surprised to hear that.

Well, lets hope the powers that be choose wisely.
