Good times ... and yeah, the food has vastly improved. Italian food in the UK tends to be great.

Where? Three times we ate Italian, and three times I had the worst Italian food I've ever had in my life. Who fucks up pasta and cheese? How?

We finally gave up and went for Asian. All the time. It was great.

Hmmm... it ocurs to me, there is this british bloke that hangs around the Boardello and I don't recall him chining in on this thread... maybe he's all pissed off about the whole William the Conquerer thingy... prolly sitting in the dark wishing he were still French... Well , not all of us can be so lucky...

I had lunch and am feeling more coherent and less "let me poke the Board-Brit in the eye"-ish... and well, i only poked him in the ye because he's a brit, and as we all know, they don't poke back, unless of course the original poker is German, and there is a massive lend lease program underway...

hmmm, yeah, I guess that was a bit of a two-fingered poke... maybe I should not have eaten that really sugary dessert...

or, it could be that CM is in England, and I am not, and i am suffering from Spotted Dick Envy... which is entirely possible... or it could be that the canadians are no longer repreesented and I no longer have anyone to poke...

no, I'm pretty sure is SDE... that can be a real bitch you know...

Mind the Gap

I kept reading those signs, and having lived in NYC for a few years, I kept thinking... what a bunch of dumbasses these brits must be... there is only a 2 inch gap at best between the platform and the train... Mind the gap my ass... what a bunch of pasty pansies they must be...

then, in mid rant to my wife about how lame the brits are... I failed to mind the gap, and fell balls deep... fortunately there was some little old lady nearby, and she pulled me to saftey, while my wife laughed her ass off...

it was the damdest thing I've ever seen... who the hell parks their subway train sooooo far from the platform???

according to the little old lady who helped me up... the English do...
