You catch on pretty quick for an ubergeek.

Chicken pot pie sounds pretty good right now.....it is cold outside and it is time for comfort food.

Welcome!

hi there.

my husband collects comics and figures and more sci fi books than i care to think about - is he geeky? i thought he just liked to spend money.

oh, and you should make with the pie. it's hungry in here.

Well, does he classifly his purchases as investments? If so then yes your husband is a huge geek, if not he's a recreational geek. Either way, I hate to break the news to you darlin, he's a geek. Just be happy he's not a nerd!

Enjoy the pie!

i knew we were both geeky - i'd rather read or knit than go anywhere. but i normally read science, philosophy, literature. sometimes, i divulge in lenore or meatcake or jthm - he used to drag me to comic stores everywhere, i had to find something to do.

and yes, his purchases are investments. he has calmed down with comics, though his old ones are still perfectly bagged and untouchable, as are his toys. star wars cannot ever be referred to as "just a bunch of movies". he does let me open the "figures" he buys for me, but i can see he's cringing on the inside.

oh, and he did stay up til 5 am playing games on the computer - leaving me all alone.

thank god for the pudding pie.
