Cheney - buh-bye?  Reply with quote

This rumor has been floating for the past few days:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/06/25/AR2007062501038_pf.html

Who would replace him, and if they did, would it increase or decrease their chances of a successful bid for the White House?

Cheney is scheduled to undergo surgery soon for his pacemaker batteries, giving him the perfect excuse to resign - his doctors advised him to.

I know it's just a rumor, but we can dream, can't we?

If you can generate a strong EM field close enough to him, his
pacemaker will go off. Shocking the crap outta him.

I was working on some wiring for a friend, and had him trip the
breaker for me.
He has a pacemaker.
APPARENTLY, that is enough to set off ones pacemaker.
Tripping the breaker was enough to drop him to his knees. Laughing
Yeah, yeah sick puppy.
I'm laughing now as I type this. Laughing

cheney is like a cockroach. you can't kill him. he won't quit. no one will fire him. he may be our first zombie vice president.

if something untoward were to happen to him, it'd be a sucker or a fool who took his place on that sinking ship. that reminds me, what exactly is Dan Quayle doing these days?

Dan Quayle would be a great choice - GWB could invent new non-sensical words, and Quayle could mis-spell them.

Cheney like to have his cake and eat it too. Claimed executive privilege when he was required to turn over docs. Now he's claiming that he's exempt from oversight because he's part of the legislative branch.

The scary part is that he just might be able to strong arm enough republican legislators to get his way. Then he can claim he doesn't have to leave when Bush's term is up, since technically VPs aren't elected they're appointed, and stage what he hopes is a bloodless coup.

he's pretty brave - I'd have been afraid of getting shot in the face.

So I've been thinking about the evil Dick...

Usually, people who act like this have something seriously wrong with them-
syphilis, lead poisoning, brain tumor, etc.

All I'm saying is, the bitch needs to be quarantined, tested & maybe autopsied!
