I wouldn't get too upset. Then again maybe you should so that this doesn't happen again and our government can be held responsible for its' actions. England had their own Mad King George but he liked to kill wives and form religions. There wasn't too much media coverage of it all because TV hadn't been invented yet. The papers probably glossed it over with news of heiresses with really high foreheads having problems walking into walls and driving carriages under the influence of the Germans.
