This topic is most suitable for Halloween. (It also provides an opportunity for pointless sparring among patriots from different hometowns. Razz )

There's an argument going on currently between Baltimore and Philadelphia concerning Edgar Allan Poe's remains. Baltimore has them now, but Philly claims to be more important as the place where Poe wrote his most important works.

Since I live between the two cities, I have no opinion that would matter. [insert copout smilie]

Exhume the body, split it in half, bury one half in Philly, one half in Baltimore. Seems the only macabre and right thing to do.

Baltimore has the Ravens as there football team, somehow I think Edgar would approve.

Oh, yeah! I'm sure he has nothing but fond feelings for the city in which he was killed for the sake of ballot stuffing.

I don't think Poe would like moving from his final resting place.but then again, ya know Baltimore is a great place for him to be. but Trust me I don't think anyone is gonna open the resting place unless they want what happened in Children of the Living dead, directed by Tom Savini (Friday 13th guy)
