Congratulations on your newest baby! I've been pimping you to all my friends, real and imaginary (internet peeps) and in 2 hours and 10 minutes (EST) I hope that the Border's site is flooded and Amazon almost shut down due to extensive traffic of peeps trying to be first on their blocks to own a piece of you or hopefully another piece of you.
Thank you so much for your artistry and for sharing it with us and another thank you for letting me be a very tiny tiny part. _________________ Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.

thanks
Thanks for the good wishes, Jules. And to everyone who participates here. It's great to know that there are people who give a rats ass about what you do. I appreciate it. I really do.
Thanks!
I have to go freak out now.

I'm headed out at lunch to get my Fool (yay!) *Edit: GOT IT - DOUBLE YAY!*
Chris, how freaked out do you get around your pub date? I would imagine it's like waiting for your baby to be born, then seeing it shoved immediately into an international beauty contest. Or something.
Maybe it's all old hat and you're all "yeah, whatevs. Another book dropped today. Get it, and stuff."
I'm guessing more along the freakout lines.
In any case, best of everything today, and I hope you kick that motherfucker Patterson's ass on Sunday.

Congratulations Chris, you're the reason we're all here and happy.
Well, you know, not metaphorically speaking. Not like some supreme being (though you are pretty super) who waved his pen and wrote us into existence.. or did you? Shit, now I'm confused again.
Maybe I'll go home and bake a pie in your honor whist I read ye's (that would be ya'll's?) book.

Okay, I'm leaving work in a few and I'm going to drive straight to the bookstore to buy this book.
I would like to add my Congratulations to Chris, as well. Writing a book is not easy, and I would imagine that taking a concept like this, approaching and executing it the way you did adds several layers of difficulty to it. In order to finish something like that you actually have to love the idea and be dedicated to it, and it is really good to know that there is an author out there who will push the creative barriers of popular literature the way AG does. It really is something rare. So, THANKS to you, Chris. You are an inspiration to all of us, and I can personally vouch for myself by saying that you have influenced the way I write and think about writing. _________________ Scruffy|SRD Books

Only lack of money stopped me from buying immediately-
of course, if we get that tax refund in the next week, I may not be able to control myself...

Naturally, it's our sacred duty!
I pimped FOOL on the Fforde board to help generate overseas interest-
they're getting twitchy waiting for JF's Next book & y'all draw some of the same audience...

I finally got a chance to get it, and read it.
Most fucking excellent.
I really, really, really REALLY hope that the old lady, whom I told about how funny you are as she helped me to find your book, picks it up! That would be awesome.
I can happily say that I was more than pleased with your superfluous and diverse use of fuck. quite pleased. I felt...satisfied.
thank you. _________________ I will gladly ravage you Tuesday for a ravaging today...
