Did you read Willy or go straight for Moore?
Yes, I read all of Shakespeare's works as soon as the AG told us he was writing something about it.

No, who's got time for Shakespeare when there's a new Chris Moore book?!?

I am a huge Shakespeare fan and did read Lear before Fool. I (re)read a few plays every year just for the fun of it.

Is that with or without a glossary/translation? Cool

I've only read a handful of Shakespeare's plays: Hamlet, MacBeth, R&J, Lear. Had a passing familiarity with a bunch of others and some famous quotes.

I could be completely wrong, but I thought most of the references were from the four I mentioned and Richard III.

I did the Wikapedia thing as well before Fool. On my recent trip, HOTHA and I listen to the audio book while driving...HOTHA LOVED it!!! He has no prior Shakespeare experience.

I happened to read Lear about a year before Fool, so I didn't reread it immediately prior to Fool.

I'd say read Fool just to enjoy it, then read Lear, and then reread Fool to gain a new appreciation.
