In random order, as they came to me, and all I could think of.

Raziel -- Christopher Walken

Molly Michon -- Frances McDormand

Theo Crowe -- John Cusack

Mavis Sand -- Betty White

Valerie Riordan -- Bridget Fonda

Tucker Case -- Guy Pearce

Gabe Fenton -- William H. Macy

While I love every role that John Corbett has done, IMHO he usually comes across as a bit too much 'together' to play Theo. I'd have Owen Wilson play Theo. Tucker Case: John Travolta at his smarmiest. And for the idea of Darryl Hannah as Molly: yes, yes, yes. She's tall, tough, the right age, and given the right script, is a fine actress. Oh, but think of the chemistry that she and Corbett might have . . . (chews fingernail) . . . oh, I don't know.

Can I be a zombie? "Braaaiiinnnssss...."

Ooooh! Ooooh! Ooooh! Bruce Campbell as a zombie! What a cool in-joke that would be! And Simon 'Shawn of the Dead' Pegg! And the AG his ownself. Vootie!

I thought this would be a piece of cake but I just realized how few actors I really like a lot. Tucker is giving me the most trouble.

Raziel- Jude Law...because we've all witnessed how stupid he is recently.
But very pretty.

Dale- Bruce Campbell would be good and you'd get the dead heads going
to the movie. That's a good opening weekend right there.

Theo- John Corbett is pretty perfect if you ask me.

Gabe-John Cusack is good too. I'm stealing everyone's good ideas. Changing this to Paul Rudd. I like him much better.

Molly-not sure, has to be someone kickass

Tucker- George Clooney. Because he can do funny. Even though I imagined Tucker as a surfer blonde guy and younger than George. If not George, Nathan Fillion Because he's sexy and funny and you'll see in September.

Valerie- Holly Hunter is good.

This is going to be one expensive movie AG- There's 100,000,000 just in actor's fees. You need some unknowns like in Harold and Kumar.

Wait wait wait. That guy on Lost would be a good Tucker... the bad boy Sawyer guy and he wouldn't have a multi million price tag. So forget Clooney he's too expensive. But keep Jude because he's got the look.

Johnny Depp is alway good but I didn't see him as Tucker at all. He's very short.

Isn't John Corbett too big headed (physically) to be Theo Crowe? I don't know if it's based oin any descriptions, but I always thought Theo was tall and slim. John Corbett's voice will always make you think of his character in Northern Exposure. Maybe if Matthew Lillard aged 10 years and got some better acting experience he could handle Theo.

Lucy Lawless is how I picture Molly, but I don't know if she can act the part properly. She was so cheesy in Xena. Molly needs to be meatier than Um Thurman... Meatier than Daryl Hannah too I think. Maybe Charlize Theron and a good makeup artist could sculpt the perfect Molly.

Tucker - Here is where Johnny Depp could fit in, but you'd have to make sure he didn't steal the show. How often does he play supporting roles?

I have nothing on the rest of them at the moment.

OK, now you've awakened me from lurkerdom. Since I'm late on the scene, I don't claim originality, most of you have hit my choices already, and I second the motions...

Tucker, Owen Wilson

Raziel. William Hurt, nobody does "blank emotion" better. DiCaprio does it accidentally.

Molly has to be Lucy Lawless, the character ischeesey and over-the-top. And hot. And lovably insane.

Mavis , Kathy Bates

Theo, Woody Harrelson

Valerie, Carrie Fisher, though Holly Hunter or BeBe Neuworth would be interesting.

Gabe, John Cusack

Ricardo by Antonio Banderas, inspired choice.

I actually saw most of this cast as I read the book, some even from previous appearances.

Okay it looks like a lot of us are on the same wavelength...This is good right. Or should we all be terrible frightened?

Here is my cast list and options:

Theo Crowe - John Corbet

Molly Michon - Linda Fiorentino or Carrie Ann Moss

Gabe Fenton (I got a little carried away here) - William H. Macy, Bill Murray, Christopher Lloyd, Philip Seymour Hoffman or Anothy Hopkins....Anthony Hopkins?

Valerie Riordan - Bebe Neuwirth or Frances McDormand

Dale Pearson - Bruce Campbell, Vincent D'Onofrio or Tommy Lee Jones

Lena Marquez - Salma Hayek

Mavis Sand - Grace Zabriskie

Raziel - This is tough...so here it goes... Christopher Walken, Owen Wilson? Okay how about Denis Leary? This is a tough one...

So is this a sign of a movie in the works?

Oh crap, I forgot Tucker!

Tucker Case - Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp or Ewan McGregor

How could I have forgotten the hopeless geek trapped in a cool guy's body...

See ya!

Damn, I didn't want to read the other suggestions and be influenced by them....but I did and now I can't think of anyone else for Theo & Molly! Anyway, here's my picks:

Theo Crowe - John Corbett

Molly Michon - Susan Sarandon (she's STILL so hot!)

Gabe Fenton - Rick Moranis

Valerie Riordan - Sean Young

Dale Pearson - Vince Vaughn (although, I DO really like the idea of Bruce Cambell too!)

Lena Marquez - Jennifer Lopez

Mavis Sand - Cloris Leechman (The ONLY choice, IMO!)

Tucker Case - Brad Pitt

Raziel - Will Farrell (I know, not exactly the "Heavenly-Handsome" type, but I think he'd nail the part, regardless!)

...and for the voice of Roberto - John Leguizamo

Sorry about that Catch42...

Oh yeah, AG the woman from Throw Mama From The Train is Anne Ramsey and she passed away in 1988. She would have been good but I still think Grace Zabriskie is a brilliant choice...

Who is the guy from Pulp Fiction you are talking about? Not John Travolta?

And yes, Christopher Moore as Skinner. Too damn funny.
