There Once was a Girl Who Had No Dreams

There once was a girl who had no dreams.
As strange as it seems, it was true.

The girl thought and thought, she thought so much
some said she thought a lot.

But at night when some believed it to be scary,
she simply laid down her head and had no worry.

Itís not that dreams never crossed her mind, it was
really the nightmares she did not find.

She slept and slept with what appeared to be a smile on her face.
No frown, no worry, no scare, not even a trace.

Each morning when she woke she wondered if she had a dream.
But no dream, no nightmare could she recall,
nothing scary, nothing sad, nothing at all.

So each day as she stretched and tried to shake the sleep from her head,
she smiled and smiled since there was no nightmare in her bed.

To start a day in such a good mood,
left the little girl so happy there was no reason to be rude.

When others were around her they could not help but be glad,
her joy and her attitude is what others wished they had.

You see the trick to life is not so hard to understand.
There is no need to worry when on lifeís beach you are simply a grain of sand.

So the little girl sure made life a treat.
She always wore a smile, she was always upbeat.

What some may see as scary, others surely see no worry.

There once was a girl who had no dreams.
As strange as it seems, it was true.
