The Author Guy's Appearance as a Giant Gas Bag

This sounds most likely from all the non-information provided in the latest blog post, since giant gas bag can be interpreted in so many ways. He actually could be going to sit for the design of a giant Macy's parade balloon. I think he could give Underdog a run for his money (though I am a major Underdog fan). Then again, he could have been invited to expel a lot of hot air about either the 9/11 thingy or the Republican Convention. It could happen. Not likely, but hey, we're talking AG here. I could go on, but I'm boring myself.

Any other ideas?

I'd go with gas bag, too.

As a Red Sox fan, I'm kind of hoping he's going on a top secret mission to destroy the New York Yankers.

If not, any of the following are acceptable:

1) Beating up Thinkinsane (who needs a good ass paddling on basic principle)
2) Entering into the Underground Midget Trade (don't ask)
3) Doing a hands-on study for his next book. Target, the New York Drag Queen.
4) Spray Painting 'CHENEY SUCKS' across the forehead of the Statue of Liberty
5) Is contributing to a panel looking to change THE BIG APPLE to something a lot more interersting, like THE THROBBING BANANA.

Other than that, I gots nothing.

1: He's not going to NYC. He's going to Baltimore. Otakon starts on Friday. Pre-registered guests pick up badges Thursday night.
