Just saw Chris at the Clark County Library, here in beautiful Las Vegas. He's as funny as I had expected but taller.. Unforutanly also just finished working a conference where I gave 4, back-to-back 1:15 talks today - can't talk, can barely think.

It was fun. Thanks, AG!

I know how you feel Dave. I've done 2 1/2 days of lectures and courld hardly talk afterwards. Grab a cold beer and pick up "Job" read, laugh, cry, relax and enjoy. Then go play #9 on the nearest roulette table for me. Laughing

I took a slightly different remedy: a few drinks & some fabu apps at the Mesa Grill then a solid 12 hours of passed out. Feeling nicely recovered, I just had a nice breakfast (1:30PM) of sushi & saki and I am planning on a nap next. I'll put a few on #9 for you and keep any proceeds.

Sadly, The AG has left the building and not visiting MA this tour. Hurry up and finish up the next one so I can say something coherent in person, Chris..

bunch of amateurs. I talk for 3 90 min blocks every day. don't even get me started on the screaming i do between classes.

grracie: You are; however, getting the satisfaction of grooming the next generation of American leaders, movers and shakers. Plus you are probably getting the benefit of that very generous educator's salary I heard so much about. How's that for sarcasm? Rolling Eyes

I totally admit to being an amateur on public speaking - it's really not something that comes up very often for me and I've gained a lot of respect for those that have to do it on a regular basis. 4 days of ~1-hour talks to a very diverse audience on a subject that really needs 2-3 hours of talking took its toll and I was pretty cooked by the time the AG showed up in town. Sad

Still, for some reason, I thought CM was shorter. Maybe it's just the pictures here and I need a bigger monitor.
