In case you haven't noticed of late, Deb's threads have taken on a "poor, poor pitiful me" tonality.

I have my opinions of the "how and why" of this disturbing trend, but what I'd like here is some feedback and discussion of her current state that doesn't just come from the voices. For example, is this being brought on by peri-menopause, and if so will it pass? If not will an institution type vacation be needed, will it help? Is the current behavior narcissistic, will it lead to a run for public office? Perhaps it's just updates on a girl that's having a bad month. Please, your thoughts and opinions.

Dear Doug,

Are you attempting to bait me? Really? Oh dear. I assure you, were I to go narcissistic on your dumbass, you'd definitely notice. Why? Because not only would I be causing you pain, I'd be making you cry out to the heavens exactly how and to what level it is all about me. I wish really you wouldn't attempt to play with things that are beyond your expertise. Despite the clutziness I've experienced recently, I will still use your intestines as a new bit of plumbing in my house. The hinges on my patio trap door are just waiting for the next installment of body fat grease to apply to them. Don't make me boil your skin.

Now, dougie....c'mere.

Easy there Deb. I didn't say that you were, or are becoming narcissistic. That was supposed to be an option for the poll. It seems as though when posting a poll, three options are the max, and that line was bit driven into being the title. The response to this thread has been interesting in it's unanimity, both in the poll vote and the fact that everyone wants to sit while watching my dismemberment. To the best of my knowledge this has never happened here before. Even Palmer had one or two sympathizers. Not one attempt at thread jacking. Everyone to scared to voice their opinion as to what might be the cause of your latest misfortunes. Nope everyone just comes in, grabs a chair, something to eat, something to drink and waits with so much bloodlust. Before this post, who here including me, would've considered me as a unifier? Narcissistic? No, I don't think so. My vote is that you've lost your edge. Gotten soft. Needy. Insecure in your Debness. A narcissist wouldn't hurl themselves down a flight of stairs, wasting a completely good cup of java, or go hypochondriac-al for a touch of attention.

Now come on, the attendees are expecting a show.

Doug, it's not about disliking you. After all, you signed your own death warrant. It's a little like you're Sydney Carton, riding along in quietly in the tumbril. And well, we just want to watch.

Yeah, doug, think of yourself as Hillary Clinton.

Do you know my camera does a very nice b&w? And with photoshop, we can enhance every bleeding pore on what remains of your face.

I think black and white photography will only make the whole experience that much more enjoyable. For me, anyway.

Lynn, I wasn't commenting on my paranoia, I was just admiring the conformity of the responses.

Never been a big fan of popcorn plus we can use the red vines spittle to look like blood to re-enact the scenes when they're done. Ooo WAIT! I'll get my Video Camera!!!

Let's go with a whole Ed Wood feel, okay? Doug, you're not going to feel a thing (after that first little twinge).
