TOO MUCH PIE?  Reply with quote

Saturday, my mother brought 4 pieces of pie to work- 2 each of pumpkin & apple.
I was just going to eat one piece- honest- & took the piece that was easiest to get.
So she gets one of each, leaving this little piece of apple pie sitting in the big container, looking lonely.
I had no choice, I had to eat it too- well, wouldn't you?

Then yesterday, after I finished my breadsticks
(sorry to spread the cravings, btw) I decided to have some more pie-
but couldn't decide which kind I wanted.
So once again, I got one of each-
completely forgetting that I had chocolate pudding earlier that day
(pudding basically being pie without crust).

So then my mother comes home tonight & decides to make a strawberry pie,
asks me what kind of crust would be best- since chocolate was an option...
OH HELL YEAH! Strawberry & chocolate- of course I had to have some more pie!

So...
Is there any such thing as too much pie?

GRRR- it won't let me put another option-
the other one should be:

WHO CARES? GIVE ME A SLICE OF THAT PIE!

Odds are, the answer is definitely yes.

Your mom comes to your house and bakes PIES?!
WTF?!!
I gotta make my own, or have the missus pick one up when she's in town.
That, if she has one, would be her only fault, she doesn't make pies, cakes
or bread. Sad
I do alot of work for widders and spinsters.
Maybe I should include baked goods as a form of payment. Hmmm...
Hey deb, like your new AV.

FC, it's my mom's house- you gotta visit bakers more often...
Then there's the fact that the first 2 pies were bought &
the other one didn't require baking- oh well, it's still free pie!

Um, well... you do, in fact, rock!
But I was thinking along the lines of ...

APPLE PIE:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bjMiXqlpMU

CHERRY PIE:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GdDxz2bkfhE

If you can stand it for 15 minutes, PUMPKIN PIE:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hT8dAeHe7Ow

Hell, maybe even a little HUMBLE PIE:
(W.A.S.P. covered this song. Now if I'd intended a come-on, I would have posted "30 DAYS IN THE HOLE"...)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZMmV6xXYFw

Or, for some, A PIE IN THE FACE:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEYsbFbj5vY

I was actually looking for MOTLEY CRUE's "SLICE OF YOUR PIE"
but they don't have a video for that one, at least not yet...

It's all good, except for "AMERICAN PIE"! The song's overplayed & the movie...
well, let's just say after watching it, the thought of eating pie could lead to this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHUhT5B2Q5A

So why no mention of KEY LIME PIE above?
There's a video of somebody making one, but it ends in disaster:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dOmbAmGyBQ

I'm sure Joe will be demanding a slice of key lime pie shortly... Wink
So this is for you & him:

asking if you there's such a thing as too much pie is like asking if you can have too many cookies or too much air. no, no and no. there's also no such thing as (sorry everyone) too much sex.

share the pie and i'll send you fresh baked cookies.

Er...this is a silly question. By using the term "too much", it is too much. Therefore if you have too much, then you have too much.

Now, what is too much pie? Well, that's another question entirely. I'd say that too much pie is having more pie than one can fit in ones stomach at a single sitting.

Yeah, think I'll take seconds on all 4 of those-
engaging in one of them is great exercise!

*sharing pie & cocoa with everybody*

The traditional offer of cocoa was always intended as a gesture of friendship-
but it turns out, cocoa is good for you! Check it out:

To your health, folks- let's try a tasty way to lower blood pressure...
It goes great with pie!

Oh, now I see: this was about PIE!

I thought the title of the thread was "Tie much poo?" My mistake! Embarassed

So, naturally, I was wondering, "Who would want to tie much poo? How do you tie poo? Do you have to wait until it's dried, or freeze it first? And what do you tie poo to?"

Well, now that this is all clarified, I have to ask: "Can you make pie out of poo, and if you do, who would want to tie a poo-pie, how do you tie a poo-pie, and what do you tie a poo-pie to?"

Embarassed
