New in almost all senses of the word!  Reply with quote

Hi All!

I'm new to the forum, AND a new Christopher Moore fan... I've been dying to get a hold of one or two of his books in a long time, and finally made it to my local Barnes & Nobles and picked up You Suck: A Love Story.
I didn't realize when I purchased it that it was "sequel" ; but it's still a great read so far on it's own - it'll just make me want to go out and get Bloodsuckig Fiends now as well!
I haven't read anything other Moore books yet - what do you recommend I try next?

Great job Christopher, I love your writing style!
(I am writer-wannabe myself so I'm hoping this forum will be a big help as well as a place to meet new friends and fans of Christopher's!)

I am 36 (almost 37 - ACK!), separated (soon to be divorced - YAY!), and I have an eleven year old son whom I love to death - he's the greatest kid (well, of course I'm going to say that - I'm his Mom!).
I've written since I was a young girl and I love to read, draw, paint, and have many other creative pursuits as well.

Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Take care!
RogueSelina Very Happy

Hello!

Pull up a stack of books, though it sounds like yours might be a bit short for a bit, and start posting..

Did you bring pie?

The last new guy didn't bring pie.

Hopefully you brought pie.

Enjoy the visit!

My stack of Christopher Moore books is small for now, but it will grow, I just know it. My stack of other various books is rather large, however.

Of course I brought pie!
Enough pie for everyone!

Thanks for the welcome!

I suggest reading them in order of publication, just so you get the most out of all the subtle connections.

Practical Demonkeeping would be your start.

Oh, and Hi! Smile

Dude, the only way to get water in me is by drinking Kool-Aid.
If not for that, I would dehydrate, seriously.

Howdy RogueSelina! Nice to have you here. I'm a Chris Moore n00b too, so I know just how you feel. You'll fit right in quickly though!

Just so you know, "Bloodsucking Fiends" is brilliant! It is definitely worth a buy! (And I'm only on chapter 3!)
