Jackass drivel? I think not.

John Stossel was a liar when he reported that organic produce has a slightly higher presence of e. coli, (which is true), but followed it up by saying "It's logical to worry about pesticide residues, but in our tests, we found none on either organic or regular produce." In fact, Stossel and his producer had instructed the contractor that did their testing for the report specifically not to test for pesticides. Both were suspended by ABC for the report.

I did not know. Thanks. I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

I actually wasn't referring to you with those comments. It was directed more toward FC.

His words:

"IMO he's an asshat.
I lump his material with jackass, letterman and such drivel.
Not worth my time.
So, if not wanting to have some idiots skewed opinion shoved down my
throat for an hour or so is "not getting it", I guess I'd rather not."

"What issues forth from assholes? SHIT.
I'd rather not. Thank you."

"So, because this flaccid penis makes a "Mockumentary".
Fills it with half truths, biased points of view, presents it as "entertainment".
I've gotta watch it? I think not.
I have to agree with it? Again, I think not.
I have to give it a portion of my valuable time?
You don't have to see the dog poop, to know it's there.
The man is a crock, and he reeketh.
I base my opinion/conclusions on the impression the man made on me.
Not his politics. Just to be clear."

Maybe it was a bit of a jump for me to conclude that he hated the guy, but he sure didn't seem to like him. All based on a brief interview on a TV show.

Seems odd to jump to such a strong conclusion based on so little, but that's just my opinion.

I could be wrong, but I think that if his first impression was based on actually watching BFC, his opinion would be quite different.

So, I'm not allowed to, Not like a person?
Who made you the "let's all get along" police?
Last time I checked, the ONLY person that had the right to question whom
my friends or associates could or could not be, gave birth to me.

If you are so concerned about how Mr. Moore might take the news of my
dislike of him. Maybe you should hie yourself on over to his place, and
hold his hand, while gently breaking the news.

Your last statement contains the most credence of all that you've said.
Fortunately/Unfortunately, it didn't happen that way. Too bad, so sad.

Now go forth and sin no more, lest you irk me. Rolling Eyes

I have liked all of Michael Moore's movies, not necessarily for the facts/fabrications included, but for the thought-provoking, look-at-things-from-another-angle perspective he provided. We, none of us, can presume that United States media outlets are giving us the news without bias. Why should we assume that a man who feels that things have happened in a certain way, can have implications in the consequences of the decisions that were made?

Michael Moore...American guy making a point. You don't like it, that's fine.

See, twan_deeth_ree.
I behaved in the same manner I saw Mr. Moore behave in his interview.

The vehemence of my response was unwarrented, in that it was rudely
worded and took on the air, that I am better than you.
You did nothing more than speculate that my view, might not be from the
best perspective.
Yet I chose to denegrate you.
Hence the opinoin can, is, formed that I am an asshat.
And do not rate a response.
You chose to ignore me.

Which is why I CHOSE not to watch Mr. Moores' film(s).
You have made my case for me, thanks. Wink

I didn't ignore your response, this is the first time I've seen it. I had a busy weekend.

I don't think you're an asshat. You can, obviously, form whatever opinions of whatever persons you choose. Such is your perogative as a human being. And such is my perogative as well - to think it silly and pointless to judge a person wholesale based on so little.

Which is why I don't think you're an asshat, I hardly know you.

Lets just get Michael Moore and Ann Coulter in a Celebrity Death Match and have it over and done with. Chris "Wingnut Detector" Moore (no relation!) can referee.

No contest. Michael Moore would eat Ann Coulter in the first round, then use her skinny -assed anorexic femur to pick his teeth. Now Michael Moore and Lush Rimjob, THAT would be a matchup.

Won't happen, as neither can pass a drug test.

Duhhhh. I'd pay $39.95 to the cable company to see that. Ann can be the appetizer, Lush can be the main course.

Michael Moore is a big fat liar?
Gee, the wingnuts don't seem to have a problem chowing down on all THEIR heroes lies, do they?
Limbaugh.
Coulter.
Savage.
O'Reilly.
Hannity.
Cheney.

Yeah, there's a lineup of real truth-tellers, huh?
Moore "polishes" up the truth a bit, but makes points we so desperately need in this country. It's called ANOTHER POINT OF VIEW. I know that's not something Fox-News fans and Dittoheads alike are exactly used to, but deal with it.
I'm still waiting for the WMD's to be found.
Or the insurgency to be in "its death throes".
Or the troops to be greeted as liberators.
Or the cost of this fiasco to be less than the $75 billion they promised.
Or the Mission Accomplished.
Or......blah...blah....blah.
