Shouldn't there be exceptions? Spam that somehow manages to separate it's self from the norm?

You want all the nasty porn spammers sent to your address?!
I'm sure it could be arranged...

Hm, that's funny... I registered a while ago and I was still waiting for any kind of mail telling me that my registration was received, allowed etc, but i got none at all... after waiting a week i thought "let's just try logging in" and surprise, it worked...
You might wanna set up some way to inform users when their account is activated... oh, and yes, I did check my spam filters...

I lost a few the first week... now I've got the workflow down. I'm still getting about 50 spam registrations for every real one.

I'm liking the board a lot better this way... anyone else's opinion?

Seems to be working, Ken. Not noticed a single spam post since you tightened security up. Good work, cyberdude!

I've received about 9 e-mails telling me about the topic reply in A Fresh Start. They're all for the same reply, all sent at the exact same time, Sat, 29 Sep 2007 21:11:24 -0600.

Just a reminder of what a great job Ken is doing in keeping the boardello spam-free, I saw this at the bottom of the page:
