you know those shirts/avatars/bumper stickers/whatever that say "PWND NOOB"? Well, I am that powned noob.

Anyway, just thought I should introduce myself. My screename is pixiedolores, but you can call me Colleen or smallz or shortstuff because I answer to them all. Really. People call me those names in real life. Weird, huh?

Anyway I love the AG and his amazing books. So far I have read (in order of appearance) ADJ, YS, BSF, LLOMC, and Lamb. Well, I'm not all the way done with BSF or Lamb, but you get the idea. My bestest friend for 18 years really likes this OTHER author guy Jasper Fforde, and we're trading our books back and forth because this is our last summer together before college. Sad

but anyway, howdy to y'all and please be nice. I am a writer but that doesn't mean I'm so great with message boards. If you really want to get to know me check out my myspace (also pixiedolores) or YouTube account (also also pixiedolores).

Wink

Yay! Another person that lives in Texas! I'm in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Lukaret (not on the board much lately - getting her butt kicked by the first year of college) is in the same area, and Kar98 is in East Texas.

Isn't there some rule about how many Texans can congregate outside of the state (even virtually)? If not, maybe there should be. Twisted Evil

Personal vendetta aside, WELCOME! IF you brought pie, I'll conveniently forget that you said you were from Texas, at least until the pie runs out. Wink

Ok, so I'm an ass.

Did you bring pie?
The last noob brought pie and alcohol.
Since you're under age we'll forget about it for now..

What? Your astrological sign?

If you were referring to my political affiliation, I'd just as soon see them all thrown down a well. Not that I'm touting anarchy either. We have to have a government so the texans, in or out of the state, don't hurt themselves.

Very Happy Welcome, PD!
In honor of the HP activity this month, I'm offering Butter Beer
(not alcoholic, check the cookbook- overage wizards can spike their drinks)-
but as always, cocoa & sweet tea are also available!

Bring us a pie that goes with all 3 of those
& nobody will care where you're from-
hint: chocolate's always good...
Hey, if you're a fan of the AG & Jasper Fforde, you're in the right place!

Some of us are embracing our assholiness
so that we can stop it at that level & not become total fucktards...
Now where's that well? Wink

2)I do like the live-action Scooby-Doo movies.
3)Trekkie. Got Spock ears and a Capt.Janeway Teddie Bear.
4)I am in love with Ted Raimi.

I'm not sure that we can be friends now. Unless, of course, you bring a whole heck of a lot more pie!

Welcome, PD! Dr. Goudron will be along shortly for your Ann Coulter search. As an aside, I'm going to Jasper Fforde's book signing in Raleigh on Aug. 4! Whoohoooo!
