now that you've provided your credentials you must leave the safety of who's who and mingle dwell amongst the fruitbats.

Hilary will be along at her whim.

If she comes while I'm ousting the "canuckleheads" (thats canadians to you, minus Deb and Rob and other exceptions on the board) and has to come back would that make it a whim-whim situation...? (Don't look at me the rules said something about humor and this is what slithered out.)

Off hand it sounds like a cold smoker for meats, do you have any pictures I could see?

I'm assuming since you didn't mention any wires its not electrical by nature sooooo
depending on how they are attached and although spiral you didn't say springy I'm thinking those spirals are used to dissapate heat or a means of removing lid without burning yourself. Depending on the age and dimensions it was probrobly placed directly over or on coals to produce smoke. (Did I mention a photo might help) Smile

Yes, yes I see...Well I can state with infinite confidence that if you put that over or on hot coals it will smoke, your meat and anything else unfortunate enough to fall in those coals. Laughing

Very Happy Welcome CJ!

Glad you finally decided to join us here in the nuthouse... er, I mean boardello-
My traditional offering is cocoa- but if you prefer, I also have sweet tea & butter beer (check the cookbook)...

About that cooking challenge...
really, pie's fine with me as long as it doesn't have meat or blueberries in it-
but if you want a challenge, try making some of that pumpkin-chocolate cheesecake,
also in the cookbook...

I guess what I'm saying is, strip, stack, post-
& share some of your recipes with us crazy, lazy folks... Wink
