Who is Ron Paul?
Does anyone know where I can find some info on him? I know he is (apparently) running for President in '08, but is he a third party or what? Any idea what his views are, background, etc. Any links or info is much appreciated.
On a related note, for those of you with more computer savvy than I, are there any good links to major newspapers, preferably with no subscribers fee? I can't take the local nonsense any more, and while I like pie and pie charts USA Today ain't worth it either. I get Alternet and similar ones now, and would like those too, if anybody knows more good ones.
Cheers Very Happy

No third party. He probably just got lost in the crowd of Republican candidates. He's a US Representative from Texas. You haven't heard much about him because the media don't want to expend the time to report on all the candidates when there are so many to begin with, so they only report on two candidates from each party, thus making them the "front runners" because people only talk about the candidates they hear about from the media, so the media only reports on the candidates the public is talking about so the people only talk about the front runners because they're the only ones being reported on, so the media only report on the front runners because they're the ones the public are interested because they are the only ones being reported on because they are the ones the public are interested because they are the only ones being reported on because they are the ones the public are interested because they are the only ones being reported on because they are the......................

Anyway,

washingtonpost.comdoesn't have any fees, but you have to register. Thought I'd mention that in case you were interested
