Greetings! (aka Hola Strangers)

Hi. I'm Hope. I want to be a writer or a journalist. And the first book of Christopher Moore I read was Lamb which had me in stitches. Currently I'm in high school and my mom died when I was 12. So I began to bury myself in books which lead to my dream of writing. So ya da ya da ya da here I am. Say hi if you want too! It's just the opening post.

Welcome, Hope. My favorite Chris Moore book is "The Stupidest Angel" because it gathers together some of my most loved characters of his. But "Lamb" touched me, greatly. It was a lot of fun but there was also a depth to it, and a love and respect for the characters that made me fall in love with it.

Aw, shucks, now I'm gettin' all sappy.

Oh! I just finished reading the Stupidest Angel! I brought it to my school which is Catholic one (imagine hiding Lamb from my religious teachers). But Oh my Gosh it was so hilarious! Love to Roberto!

I went to Catholic school too...way way back. I don't think I'd have hidden "Lamb" because, for one thing, most of my teachers (even the penguins!) were pretty cool folks and, number two, all the real deviancy, if you will, comes out of Biff. Although I agree w/Joshua wanting to include "Blessed be the dumbfucks" in his Sermon on the Mount. God knows, if anyone needs extra blessings, it's the dumbfucks.

You do realize I went to an all girls for six years of my life. It was full of girl on girl action, tales of drinking binges, and ridicously short skirts to impress the other girls or get boys to look at them that I do not know. Thankfully I took the first train to a co ed high school.
