big brother is listening Santa  Reply with quote

Hi Santa,
Well, I haven't really written since I thanked you for those really cool sugared cereals in tiny boxes at Christmas, and I guess I've been pretty good this year trying to be upbeat and a good example to the kid despite difficult circumstances;so here is what i want:
*USA should get universal health care which still charges a reasonable premium based on income, but gives access to all care. I don't live there, but it's just embarrassing- like Jimmy Carter watching his brother Billy.
*Carl Hiassen to become governor of Florida
*all babyboomers forced to retire at age 65 (or sooner!) - you've had the feed bag for long enough boys - it's time to share.
*make selective thinning of forests mandatory over clear-cutting (and yes, I've worked in the woods with a chain-saw - yes it's harder and takes longer - suck it up; it's better in the long run and yields more per acre.)
*day parole for Robert Latimer (look it up if you don't know why)
*a new Chris Moore book and all of Chris's books made into movies (is this sucking up or a genuine request? well, if I listed it first, i think that's sucking up- but you be the judge)
*the government to stop snooping on my computer
*that anti-smoking groups would spend all that vicious energy on something important (thereby saving the world) - oh, and I don't smoke by the way.
*to meet up with Douglas Adams in heaven and hang out with all the other athiests
*to make this letter concise and pithy (sp?)
*that anyone who gets all judgemental about single mothers spending all their money on alcohol and smokes should have to donate 10% of their income in perpetuity on grocery coupons for single moms, and should have to publicly admit that the reason that they trash them is that they can't stand to spend more than half an hour with their kids because they never learned how to parent and they are just greedy @##$% who would rather have a big house and two new cars than spend time singing a song with their kid or teaching them right from wrong.

*oh yeah, and of course, put a big plexiglas dome over the middle east, remove all metals and weapons from it and let them duke it out with sticks and stones till they get sick of it. Meanwhile, we will learn to live on less oil - I see trains being subsidized and lots of horses and oxen in the street.
Well, that's about it Santa, and give the AG lots of happy thoughts.
Vicki (oops sorry, this should be with the other letters - don't think I can move it now tho.)

Hi Vicki.

All of the books are going to be made into Indian movies.

I, for one, prefer Heathen.
Wonko, that has to be the fastest thread jack in history. Cool

ANd now back to our regularly schedualed programming...
Hi Vicki!
Maybe you wanna stop by the rules section and then proceed to whos who,
kinda intro yourself. Then again maybe not, whatever floats your boat.

Hi,
been busy. Still trying to get posts into the right place; have checked out FAQ's - assume that's the rules you speak of. Don't have much to say about myself really. I had a very smart roomate in university who wanted to start an anti-social club - little did she know that there is one alive and living in chrismoore land.
