Hi. I'm Laurie Gold, aka Laurie Likes Books, and what better way to introduce myself than with the best line of dialogue ever written? I first read Chris Moore a few years ago, but it wasn't until the last few weeks that I turned into an actual fangirl. And fangirls are looked down on with disdain at the website I run. But I proudly proclaim it here and now, putting Moore in the same category as Dale Chihuly. Now if I could just get my husband to read A Dirty Job... Wink

Yeah, but c'mon, Kar - 'Hello' has been done to death. Seriously.

Hi, LLB

Welcome, check the rules, run with it. Bring pie. Lots of pie.

Interesting comparison - Chihuly and Chris...hmmm...both kinda 'out there' in a really good way...both a combination of artist and craftsman...I like it!

Welcome to MojoExpress!

You have to answer this question first before you are accepted to the board.

What do you think about the child labour abolition act in India?

Very Happy Welcome LLB!

Have some cocoa, it'll go well with eggnog pie-
see, I'm guessing that you were waiting for the eggnog to make the pie...

If not, where's the pie?! Shocked

Pie  Reply with quote

What is it about pie?
My husband...my daughter...they are pie-nutty!! And now you guys. Since my husband always recites this little Roy Blount poem, will you settle for that...and a cherry pie?

Pie.
Oh my.
Nothing tastes sweet,
Wet, salty and dry
All at once so well as pie.
Apple and pumpkin and mince and black bottom,
Iíll come to your place every day if youíve got Ďem.
Pie.
