If you're poor, how about the library?

Been looking for his books there for months, haven't seen one yet-
maybe I should just ask somebody that works there? Wink

Seriously, they're pretty hard to corner-
by the time I find somebody behind the counter, I'm ready to check out my books & go home...

They may not have him, our local library sure doesn't. Multiple copies of every god-forsaken Danielle Steele book though...

I've requested a few times that they get some of his books, but I've also requested about 50 other titles and have yet to see any of them actually appear (I think they tell me they'll do it so I'll go away Confused ).

REally? Every time we request a book our library gets it or already ordered it.... but then the lady in charge of purchases reads everything we read. Shocked

Yeah, they only have 5 AG books, and I asked them to get the rest. They are suprisingly lacking in Stephen King books, and I've requested several of his. The Nightwatch Trilogy, a bunch of newer books, stuff like that. So far haven't seen any of it. I guess the policy is more than one person has to aks, I don't know..

I'm embarrased to say I haven't heard of Mr. Sandlin until Mr. Moore mentioned him. I intend to get to work on remedying that. Any suggestions as to where I should start?

The library in my area have only recent stocked AG's "Lamb", but they seem to be catching up.

I asked him (Sandlin) that question and he suggested "Jimi Hendrix Turns 80" or another one whose title I can't remember. You can check him out on myspace, or on his website which I think is www.timsandlin.com.

I won a book from him called "The Pyms: Unauthorized Tales of Jackson Hole" and it was very funny. I'm waiting for "JHT80" to come in now.
