Del Toro for the Hobbit?  Reply with quote

Sweet!! I love Del Toro!!! I'm so excited! I think he would make a great successor to Jackson in the director's chair.

He could do big scary dragons quite well, I imagine. Just hope he doesn't change the style. I want it to fit along with Jackson's LOTR.

They're turning The Hobbit into TWO movies? Is that really necessary? It's ONE book, like each of the three LoTR sources.

Geeze. With all the extended or extra scenes that they'll undoubtedly include in the DVD of The Hobbit, are 2 movies really necessary?

Oh, wait, I said that already.

Are 2 movies really necessary?

I think if anyone could do it, it would be Guillermo...his movies are kinda creepy, but also beautiful.

I think to do it right, and not as some cartoon with creepy hippie music, two movies would be perfect.

Am I the only one who pictured Benicio Del Toro as a drugged out hobbit?

Yes?

Ok.

Carry on.

Not at all. I assumed Jackson was doing the Hobbit installment.

Jackson is the producer, but he's letting someone else do the directing *shrug*

Am I the only one who thinks that three movies of walking, interspersed with amazing effects is enough?
