Hello from some hippie in Ohio  Reply with quote

Hello all. Just thought I'd step in and introduce myself. I'm Lee, a guy in his mid-thirties who juggles being a writer, artist, corporate butt-monkey, business owner, student, husband and parent. *whew* Oh yeah, and I live in Ohio, where you can pee in the streets, as long as you don't get any on the sidewalk.

I am also avatar-deficient. Just can't seem to make it work.

I have 3 books in various stages of publication - one will be in stores in late spring, and the other two will show up in the fall. Now, don't get excited - they're nonfiction books. Still, I've had the privilege of going through the publishing process, dealing with editors and layout people, making boneheaded mistakes, and losing a hell of a lot of sleep. I hope it will all be worth it...

So anyway, I look forward to talking with all of you - you seem like a great bunch of folksies.

- Lee, The Avatar Deficient

Thanks for the welcomes. Rules duly read.

You know, I'm not much of a pie sort of guy. Could I interest you in some tarts, perhaps? How about a nice danish? An after-dinner mint?

...

What?

...

Fine... I'll go get the pie.

Jeebus...

Need some help re-inserting your head up your ass, or do you think you can handle it by just sitting down? <3

Dear Far Out Bob...you tease. I thought you'd be in your 50's since you stated you're a hippie and your screen name supports that.
