The Magician King by Lev Grossman. Just as good as its predecessor.

Finished "Already Dead", "No Dominion" and "Half The Blood of Brooklyn" by Charlie Huston.
Currently reading "Bang Your Head: The Rise and Fall of Heavy Metal" by David Konow. A nice little trip down memory lane.

Plugged by Eoin Colfer. The first book in a long time to make me laugh out loud.

Just finished Roma by Steven Saylor. It's 1,000 years of Roman history in a 550 page 'novel.' It's not bad, but it's not nearly as good as his Roma Sub Rosa series.

Also recently read Jonathan Hickman's Pax Romana, a sort of backwards alternate history novel as the Catholic Church tries to change the past so that they'll still be dominant in the 20th century. Things go wrong in some fascinating ways.
