I'm with you, Lisa M. Shrub wins, I go. UK compound here I come!

If only I could do that. I fear, what with the child in college, I'm trapped here for the next four years! Altogether now, let's send out those positive "Kerry Wins!" vibes.

Okay, the changes to the web site are great, the video thing rules, the frame at the top of the BBS I can avoid by going directly (bbs.chrismoore.com), but...

Where is Chris's Picks? I hadn't finished reading them. DOes anyone have a copy they can email me? I was so unprepared for this. Waaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!

Oh Gawd... Thought when I looked across those buttons at the top that they represented the whole site content. Made an intuitive leap into stupidity.

Thanks Lisa M.

Just wondering....  Reply with quote

So, I've been thinkin' about this here compound. Would we have assigned duties? Have you given any thought to that, our Fearless Leader? I'm curious about what you have in mind for all of your loyal followers. If you can give us an idea of what's expected of us, we can start practicing now.

Hutch heard about the compound and is practicing ear wax drilling. He's plans to offer his services for free to the AG and a only a small fee for the rest of us. That sounds like a good idea to me. Let's hear it for Hutch!

I, um, I can spell. I went to the National Spelling Bee when I was in eighth grade, although I didn't make it past the third round. If you'd like to talk about irony, the word I misspelled was "misanthropic", though in my defense the announcer mispronounced it.

I would also like to apply to be one of the aspects of fate. I can go from goth to hippie chick pretty quickly.

I'd like to be the Diva of Decadence, but I think Hillary would be better. So maybe I can be the Compound Den Mother and join Lauren as one of the Hippie-Chick-Aspects of Fate, seeing as how I was sort of a hippie chick in my youth.

I wanna be bartender/armchair psychotherapist

My qualifications are 15 years in the food service industry and my dad's a psychologist. I have seen the spines of many books about messed up people, plus I come across them daily. I will help you cope with your problems or at least make a damn good martini.
