Played it when it first came out, thought it was absolutely gorgeous. I hit about level 40 I believe, but then didn't go anywhere beacuse the game was pretty forceful about making you find groups so uhhh . . . I went back to warcraft where I wasn't so people dependant.

That's what i get for rolling a guardian first.

I believe you buy the game, then you pay $14.99 per month.

In other words, you have to keep on buying the game.

No, but you have to pay to use their servers though. It's like golfing only way cheaper.

I haven't paid a monthly fee for a game for a few years though. I prefer Guild Wars' plan. Pay $50 for the game and any expansions, but play for free.

I refuse to play online RPGs. Not because of service fees or anything. Just because I know I'm the sort of person who would spend uncountable hours and ignore most, if not all, of my responsibilities trying to level up characters. I imagine I'd get phone calls like, "Hey, you haven't been to work in three days."

"I know. I'm, uh, ...getting stronger."

I played the 7 day trial. It was ok but I'm kind of over MMO's.

I don't mind paying for an entertainment product (I look at it like it costs about the same to see a movie in a theater and I get much more than 2 hours of entertainment from it so I don't mind the subscription) but I don't really have the time to sit down during prime family time to do a 2 hour raid or whatever. I've noticed that I'm slowly becoming more and more of an Xbox gamer. They're getting most of the titles that I want and I don't have to worry about compatibility or upgrading my (now ancient) PC to play them.

Ya kno, first, they didn't send me the confirmation e-mail.
So, I decides well, I'll just cancel and start over.
They don't cancel me for three weeks.
I get cancelled and THEN the activation e-mail arrives.
For an account that no longer exists.
So I'm there, but I can do nothing!
I couldn't even ask a question cause I can't post.
So this is me in Bite Fight Limbo. Laughing
