Rubbish! Trust in the Hillary, for she will lead you not into Temptation! Not into Darkness! Not into Credit Card Fraud!

She only twitches a little bit when she's trying to sell smack, er, 'furniture'.

But I mean, look at that halo! You can't get those anywhere! That halo is strictly a K-Mart Blue Light Special exclusive!

EXCLUSIVE!

welcome to the board, new folks. Share, contribute, and whatever you do, don't steal my thunder. It tastes like cherry flavored Tang.

Welcome Katrina.

Your signature is a little scary. But then, most of the crazy women in my books are based on people I went out with, so you won't be the only one with a lot of baggage. In fact, if you want to keep collecting your baggage early, as soon as you go out with a guy, first chance you get, look in his glove compartment, if there's a gun or a reptile in there, then you have found someone who will give you more than your alotted carry-on of emotional baggage.

Carry on.

I'm new... I've been here long enough to know that I'm not nearly as twisted, warped, or witty as I once thought myself... Thanks guys for fucking up that image of myself...

On a slightly more serious and informative note... I'm ex-military (I served 3 non-consecutive three-year enlistments in the Army, with a 6ish month enlistment as a "contract soldier" in CenAm on a counter drug mission)... I now use my powers for good -- I am the director of charitable contributions for a national HMO.

I spent a good number of years dating, living with, and (in one glowing fit of sheer unadulterated, unprecedented stupidity) marrying women that make all the wack-jobs in CMs books, and all the wack-a-dos on the Sopranos combined, look like Gidget... But then I met my 2nd (and hopefully, LAST) wife, we have 2 kids and are pretty darned happy (with just enough bickering to make us realize just how lcuky we are to have found someone that loves us for who/what we are)... awwwwwwe that was sappy.

As for the user name and avatar... yes I am a little paranoid... I have my reasons, and not just the ones my neighbor's dog whispers in my ear at night Shocked

No, I still will not post nude while sitting on a stack of The One True AG's books -- as I feel this is a descration of The Great Works of the Mighty AG...

Confused Buddhist Catwoman Mom  Reply with quote

Hi.
I am a buddhist optomist with a eclectic core. I am a pinata filled with S&M's, whoops, I mean M&M's of all kinds. I am cerebral Catwoman Mom, limber and quick of mental faculties, here to save the day when my 8 year old daughter is having issues with her X tables and struggling with the odious and repetitive textbooks that weigh down her chakras and attempt to inhibit an ounce of creative thought or questioning of blah blah materials.
I am gangsta mom, scaring away grown ass man carrying bottles of Bacardi who dare rap upon my door, seeking the innocence Rolling Eyes of my teen princessa.
I am PoPo, the red Teletubby, swirled with Betty Boop, with a hint of Billie Holiday lightly spiced with the mania of Robin Williams when I am teaching my preschoolers ( OMYGODSHESATEACHER, go ahead, get it alll out).
I'm the one who'll drag her kids along to the battered woman's shelter on Christmas eve to give the women'slittle ones at least a momentary sense of comfort and joy and caring. But I'm also the one you'll find screaming at the CEOs of the local corporations who are tearing down every teen center and Y in the area to expand their greed. The one who demands in print in our local paper that they give something back, before we loose the last 10% of our teen population to the gangs and drugs that abound just four blocks down from J&J, the Hyatt, RWJUH.
I guess, all in all, I'm either completely schizzy, or just eclectic. But what I do know is that I really despise injustice, from the smallest to the grandest taste of it.
My best friend always said it was this that was gonna one day get me shot, (yes, I really do live in that kind of neighborhood, and only a sense of humor gets us through the days), or at the least, a trip to Club130(the adult corrections facility Wink .)

I'd be surprized if Anyone you've dated could be as crazy as Molly, but I'm often surprized anyway.
Personally, I don't think I would mind if a guy had a reptile in his glove compartment. In fact, I'm quite fond of reptiles. A gun would probably mean he's a republican, and un-datable anyway (apologies if i offend anyone).

Random comment: I've always enjoyed mythology of all nationalities and religions (probably why Lamb and Coyote Blue are some of my favorites...but then again, so are all the rest of them) and have read a good deal of the real Coyote stories. I think i'm going to post my own Coyote story on the fanfiction board. All you nice people should go read it!

My cat is NOT a republican, and he's sitting in a bell tower as we speak...

Been lurking for a few weeks, finally registered.

The name is Mark, I'm from Cana...uh France, and I sort of stumbled onto my first Moore book in October and since then have done my part to keep the author in whatever psychadelic drugs he does before writing.

Cheers

Lonely Tylenol, policy wonk, at your service.

I'm not exactly a newbie, though. Just to this forum in particular. I've been a computer nerd, forums included, for years. I do seem like a bit of a moron right now, but I blame that on brain-fart mode. (For those that don't know, brain-fart is like a mental block that goes on for several days. I call it a "brainfart" because that's basically what your brain does--it doesn't produce anything productive and pretty much blocks all creativity and intelligence that doesn't involve vital functions, and even then, I have been forgetting to eat.)

I'm a fifteen-year old kid from Hawai'i, in fact, I live on the same island as CM. In fact... No, I'll just leave it at that. Anyway. I'm a computer-obsessed socialist-liberal with ambitions of becoming a government figure, and so I have devoted the last few years of my life to tirelessly reviewing and discussing every issue that requires attention, both in RL and on the internet. I also used to write some poetry, but that has taken a backseat to political satire and an internet blog I share with a friend of mine, and political essays.

That said, my interests are majorly based on politics and computers.

Like that needed repeating.

But I did it anyway.

In fact, I have been here for about three weeks already, but I never cared much for introductions. That's why I'm making this one so short.
