201!

I just had green olives in retro 7up, one of my favorites as as kid-
note to self: chill the olives first next time...

BTW, if anybody else is thinking of trying this or just thinking I'm nuts,
it has to be 7up made with real sugar or it's too sweet & won't taste right-
so far, the retro seems to be for a limited time...

you can always get coke or 7up in those big glass bottles from old mexico , no high fructose anything , no syrup, just good old fashioned sugar. they usually have them on those roach coach taco trailer thingy's.

so. much. better.

and yeah olives in soda...? sounds weird, but i've had weirder things that tasted good.

Can't do that by myself, this is a bit closer to home-
may be starting a random update thread, may just refer to tweets if I do more of those, we'll see...

I feel guilty that I've been neglecting this post.

I feel better now.

I went to Costco with my sister and my niece today. Shocked I think I've only been once before, when I was getting stuff for Jane's high school graduation party. All I really needed was toilet paper and paper towels. In addition, I had to get a 6-pack of canned chickpeas, a big bag of roasted unsalted almonds, fancy lettuce, and a slab of fresh wild coho salmon. Cool I didn't have enough cash and had to borrow money from Rosie. Woulda been okay if I'd left out the lettuce and chickpeas. Sigh. At least I won't have to buy chickpeas or almonds for a while, and the salmon will feed me about 6 meals.

I like lasagna (you could alternately replace lasagna with stuffed shells or whatever, the are all kind of the same thing)

One time I was at a friend's wedding and they had a local vegetarian cook make a vegan lasagna that was absolutely amazing. No cheese. She used potatoes in place of cheese. I have no idea how she did it and have it come out the way it did, but if nobody had told me there wasn't any cheese in it, I wouldn't have known. Potatos.

Um, I'd take some of all 3, as long as there's no trace of dead animals
& can we get some eggplant & tomato in there while we're at it?

Somebody needs to remind me that I want some chocolate pudding-
pity I can't carry this with me while grocery shopping...

Exactly!

the only way to make that dish is to make lasagna with cheese and tell everybody that it is potatos and not cheese.
