Sorry about the failure to follow protocol, that one is on me. I was born in horrible frozen place in the north, called Michigan. A great place for hockey, Ted Nugent and teenage angst. Nowadays it seems to be the hot bed of vampire cults and the failing US auto culture.

I was able to escape further torture by hopping a Greyhound and heading to South Florida where an entire other realm of foreign nightmares awaited me. I wont go into that now.

I've adjusted to life here in soulless South Beach, plus the weather ain't too bad!!

I'm also a Chef and I make alot of pie sometimes several different kinds at once.. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Welcome from one newbie to another, also from one northerner to another, sorry to hear about your transplant. You can come back now Nugent left Irons and moved somewhere else, good for him. And the teenaged angst is usually bottled up for 5 months during winter, although the snow is gone here and now they are out running loose and on the wild. Its good for them, shows life isnt fair. I'll skip the pie but take the limes, i need a little drink.

I miss the days when Nugent was a guitarist instead of a wingnut... Sad

There's a wonderful couple of Nugent references in the early chapters of John Scalzi's The Android's Dream. As a hint, here's one word: Nugentarianism.

Thank you for your warm welcome and kind replies. It's hard for me to find a place to vent my natural mistrust of Canadians and my love for pie.

As far as Ted goes we will always have Wango Tango.

I am known for a mean curry and a cerebral zest for life.

I love to feed people pie! Very Happy
