Shocked

I see that you have a search button at the top of the page so I did a little, and . . . Jesus.

Now, I didn't mind the Coulter fuss. I understand that you'e a pretty liberal crew, by and large, and she's not your favorite person, sort of like how I look at Michael Moore, I guess, who is probably pretty popular here, so I figure live and let live.

No harm, no foul.

And the abortion thing? Nothing wrong with a little disagreement, and if it went a little beyond that in a couple of posts, I didn't take any offense: it's an emotionalb subject, and I figure that life is a rough and tumble affair.

No worries.

But this "Palmer" thing?

A person has to draw the line somewhere, and this is it. I'm not going down "Palmer" road.

What I AM going to do is have a fun weekend, and then, who knows, but I'm seriously not in the mood for this kind of thing.

No offence.

And it was nice when it was nice.

So, be nice. No?
Ya gotta figger hot topics like abortion are gonna get, well....Hot.
Minds on these matters are usually pretty well set.
You're of age to know this.
The inability to change minds, your's or others, should be of no surprize.
The continuing to debate after seeing mindsets, is where others tried to
diffuse through humour.
I wouldn't compare you to palmer, but what you're doing,
(floggin the perverbial dead horse) might be considered trolling.
We try to have fun.
Disagreeing without being disagreeable, is the target.
We all miss sooner or later, done so myself. Embarassed
Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, try to learn from the experience, and carry on.
All's well and cheers. Very Happy

DUDE!!! i hated that guy! calling the always enchanting dana...OLD? wtf? and it was made all the worse , because i was nice to him. i have this problem being to nice to noobs before i get a feel for whether or not they deserve it. i think the problem is that everybody here was so nice to me, even when i was a total brat! (specially lep, hmmm maybe it's lep's fault... Twisted Evil Twisted Evil )although it was my first message board and during my first few weeks online, i still could have paid more attention to the street signs and the landscape, instead of just jumping in and yelling
PAY ATTENTION TO ME!!!!
but i was just so excited that people from cyberspace were talking to me, i didn't always stop to think about what i said. so hopefully now i'm a bit less rude or dense with the message board fopahs (sp) although i do tend to ramble on more, but that could be just due to the fact that my typing isn't quite as ridiculously slow....god help you all, after i complete this typing class they are offering for free in my community center.

Wait, what? Doug got banned? Wow. Anyway, blocking...memories...of...Pal...mer.

We MUST stand strong. The babies are uniting. They have set up meetings all over the country under the banner NURSERY. Adults have been conned into leaving them at this NURSERY organisation almost completely unattended or in the presence of inept guards.

NURSERY must be stopped. Now, I have researched their organisation and there is a window on most weekday afternoons, somewhere around 2-3pm when all NURSERY participants appear to take part in a group meditation, usually on soft mats on the floor. This often leads to sleep and THAT is when we strike. If we can't strike BEFORE birth then we must, MUST strike afterwards.

Who's with me? Let's finish this once and for all before they finish us. Statistics show that if we let them live, they will drain our bank accounts, destroy our homes, and eventually bury us. Let's take back our homes, our country, our world!

Unbabies unite!

You have that rarest of all gifts, self-awarenes, which Robbie Burns waxed poetic on, and empathy to burn.

You must be an AWESOME mom.

We disagreed on that issue, as I recall, but I'm willing to be educated, if that's what it's a matter of.

I only did heroin and cocaine (together) a couple of times so my ignorance is profound. I was mostly into grass and hash by the wheelbarrow full back in the sixties. LSD was my undoing - it took decades to straighten out my head after that, which I did, thank God. So, yeah, I should pretty much defer to you when it comes to heroin.

I figure that if something is really, really bad for you (like heroin), it should be banned, but maybe that's too simplistic of me. I'm willing to be convinced. I actually do listen to opposing arguments and have changed my mind on some substantial issues on their account, so let's hear it.

Seriously.

i don't think that you're alone in you're feelings, but when you think about all the things that are really bad for you, are still legal....oh i'm sick of this thread, i'm gonna start a new one.

Looking forward to it.

I'll just say this: if giving you free heroin will improve your life, I think that they should pass the appropriate legislation today, and I mean that.
