So, I don't see that anyone is talking about this new novel from author Michael Poore. Am I missing a thread on the topic?

I've read it. Chris mentions it on FB and even did the blurb on the front cover.

It is an amazing book...

Has anyone else had a chance to read it?

Thoughts? Discussion?

Who is this Chris person you speak of?

Can the book do one-handed back flips while whistling "Zip-Ah-Dee-Doo-Dah"?

Can it make me want to do the same?

No? Can't be that amazing, then. Can it?

Seriously, never heard of it. Tell us more, please. Smile

At first I thought you were serious about the "Chris person" thing. I am a little slow today. I even walked out of the grocery store without my groceries.

Christopher Moore says: "Even the devils of Milton and Shaw fall short in charisma and charm to Michael Poore's John Scratch. Up Jumps the Devil is a fine, funny novel by a talented writer. Buy it. Read it. Enjoy!"

You can find out more about the book here: http://www.mikepoorehome.net/

And the book can do back flips... I saw it myself just this morning.

I don't want a book that whistles- it'd probably wake the baby-
but if it can kill bugs all by itself, I'll take a gross... Razz

The book WILL kill bugs, if you smack 'em hard enough. I wrote it with that kind of design feature in mind. Ground up and reduced to powder, it will also cure warts and produce a pleasant narcotic sensation, if nasally ingested.

I DO wonder if it had inspired anyone to try and sell their soul. Even just a little bit. I tried, when I was 16.

Yeah! I've always been a little leery of all these people advertizing that they are giving Tibet away for free...

Ya know, what's the catch?
