Hey, where's... ?  Reply with quote

This is the new where-the-fuck-did-everybody-go thread-
I'll start:

Exclamation Hey, WHERE THE FUCK DID EVERYBODY GO?! Question

Wanna find me or some other fruitbat? Bump this thread...

Lotta stuff happened in the past month that I'll get around to sharing
but the important thing here is that we got wi-fi at home now
so I can lurk on my Nook anytime & see if any of y'all finally showed up...

BTW, I'm now a great-aunt... Wink

::bumps & grinds::

Congrats, Zen!

Haven't been socializing online much, lately. Also, haven't had Interwebs at home since I moved back in the 'rents in October.

Life is busy. I volunteer at my kid's schools. May be getting a position as an art teacher...and I'm going to be a grandma next summer.

Happy Thanksgiving

I believe "old so and so" is the precise term the nieces and nephews use Wink

To answer the question this thread poses... Work --> Shower --> Bed: Repeat

*ba-bump*

Had a desktop meltdown not long after Halloween, couldn't begin to catch up on everything-
this is actually the 1st time since then I've used something besides a Nook & I'm readjusting to typing... Confused

So, I've been lurking & keeping up but not able to respond, though I have been tweeting more-
got an app for that & my account's public & same user name, if y'all wanna look... Wink

Bleu, I've heard grandkids are more fun & I guess you'll find out soon-
if my baby waits as long as I did, I'll never know...

Wonko, shower & bed sound great but I also have my hands full with work,
more on that later, after any & all transitions are made...

Seph, I feel your pain & being stuck with the folks makes ya miss the escape more-
HBD early, in case we're not back in time or the Mayans are right... Shocked

Ah, the baby- can't tell everything yet but in brief:
She likes my cranberry sauce & zombies (saw local parade) but continues to hate Bon Jovi & dogs-
poor kid has my hearing without the damage...

Unless something goes horribly wrong, I should be back again before the year's over-
otherwise, my tweeps know where to find me! Twisted Evil

It looks like folks are still staying away in droves...

Hey, I can talk to myself all night & probably will! Twisted Evil

So, the folks who were working for us at the beginning of the past 2 years, aren't anymore-
1 left back in summer, the other on the day the world was supposed to end-
new year, new staff, hoping for less drama...

But business is booming-
we've increased our hours & audience & things have been busy, as you may have guessed-
then there's the yelling baby in the room with me... Exclamation

I'd give baby updates, but I can't think with all that noise
& even though I just put her in the playpen in another room,
I'd need actual questions to answer...
& ya know, folks to show up & ask them! Razz

We did but it wasn't doing anything
& they wouldn't let us actually own it so we shut down-
would love to have one that makes money instead of costing it
but we're not tech gods & we ain't doing it again unless we own the license...

The LARP has a website but- yet again-
somebody else made it & we can't sell things from it-
the TRP site for books should still work, if we can find the link-
lost everything in desktop meltdown... Evil or Very Mad

Ah-ha! LiW surfaces again!

What's the name of your store, zen? Is it Dragon Quills? Or have I got it confused with something else? Is the facebook page that gets updated semi-regularly associated with it, or is that something else? And who's doing the updating if not Blake?
