See, and everyone thought I was crazy when I said I couldn't get things to saran. I don't like plastic wrap. It never sticks to dishes for me like it's supposed to, instead sticking to itself and creating a mess. Therefore, it does not saran, as in what Saran Wrap is supposed to do.

All hail Bucky!

We have come so far  Reply with quote

from where we started with this thread that I don't even remember what it was originally about. Thank you, Lauren, for guiding me into the distant past of this site. I am not in the mood to abominate anything right now (either definition). Got a purring cat on my lap and several books from the library to read. Hmmm, which one first?

(Better? Being new I would like to make sure I'm using the correct terminology when describing what I've been doing instead of working. Should I add quaint too or is that just going too far?)

I don't know about quaint. That makes me think of a little summertime beachfront community in New England, all sweet and wholesome.

We're more like that hole-in-the-wall restaurant that all the locals go to and none of the tourists know about. Good food, good drinks, awesome music on the jukebox (which never needs quarters), and lots of really cool conversations going on any time you stop in. Occasionally, a tourist or two will wander in, like what they see, and stick around.

Is there a word for that? Smile

More like three:

El Perro Fumando.

Not on here for long. The library is beginning to wig me out. I now have the snorer. So why does "El Perro Fumando" translate to "The Dog is Smoking"? Lo siento. Mi espanol is muy mal and sucks the big one.
