Why did I read that as 'needy chicken'? It made no sense.
Stranger yet, why did I read that as 'nerdy chicken'?

It's like a game of telephone! Ah the wonders of peception. Let this be a lesson to you--don't trust second (or third)hand information.

I was going to post who I look like, but I read that and laughed too much to post. I guess I stopped.

If I let my hair grow long enough, people start saying I resemble David Spade. I try to drag myself to the barber at least every 6 months for this reason. Otherwise, I look a lot like my mom. She doesn't look like David Spade.

Today ....  Reply with quote

Today I feel like I look like the guy fron Scarsborough County because my eyes are so puffy. This feeling is disturbing on many levels.
Normally, I look like a generic messy-haired blonde, not like anyone in particular.

I get told by strangers I "look like that Author guy. You know the one"

To which I usually say "No, I don't know, which one."

To which said stranger will reply "Aren't you a writer?"

To which I respond "No and I'm not the one your thinking of either."

To which the stranger often looks quizically and says "No seriously your that guy that writes books aren't you?"

To which I promply respond "Yes that's me want an autograph?"

I usually sign Kilgore Trout.

In my very early twenties (thats my twenties, not THE twenties) I was likened to the singer Paul Young or the chap who was the singer of Big Country (RIP) I had the hair too.. Good God... the memories... Anyway now I look like a combo of Winston Churchill and Joan Rivers.
