New Question  Reply with quote

So i was watching the History Channel and was watching my new favorite show Weird U.S. You See i'm From NJ and the weird us guys are the creators of weird nj but that is besides the point. They had an episode on us rebels and there was this guy who proclaimed himself as emperor of the United States and Protector of Mexico. NOw this guys name was Emperor Norton. I was wondering if this is what your charecter of the Emporer is based on. He even had two dogs he went around with that had the same names. I'm sure it is but i just wanted to check he seemed like a cool guy.

Yep. The Emperor and his dogs are based on Emperor Norton. Norton died in the 1860s, however, so I had to update him somewhat.

That's pretty sweet are there any other charecters out there in your books that are based on real people?

I just finished re-reading B.S. Fiends two days ago (for the THIRD time - I love that book!)...I'd LOVE to see the Emperor again in another novel (perhaps the long-awaited B.S.F. sequel?)

Two books???

really, not just one, but two!?! You da man!!! the good man, not The Man... cause that would be bad... by I digress...

Does this mean two new BS books, or just two new books in general? Either way is fine by me... O, happy day!!! O, happy day!!!

This is very exciting... I've had to resort to reading Clive Cussler books while waiting for your next book AG... Now I have two to look forward too... *CU does happy dance on desk... Does a little dance, hums a little tune... gonna get down tonight*
