I really, really like Lily.

No, I would not accept sympathy sex, because I'm just too freaking old, but I would feel that I was really missing something. (*note to Ken -- there should be a drooling emoticon or something)

Does that make me a perv?

Only if you liked Lily the way Palmer liked Lily.

You can love your literary characters....just don't LOVE them.

I was time travelling. That has to put me lower, by at least a bit, on the perv-meter.

Confused

Whenever I get a crush on a fictional literary character (I'll admit to Sherlock Holmes) that is too old or too young for me, I just write a little story in my head where I meet them years earlier or years later in their fictional lives. So maybe Palmer can imagine meeting Lily when she's, like 80, and her man has died and she keeps his soul in a tube of minty fresh toothpaste and one night she sneaks Palmer into the rest home...

Nevermind. You're a perv.

But Lily is also one of my favorite new characters in CM's well stocked stable. I would like to see him write a book just for her (and her man).

I have a terrible crush on Biff, and I hate to admit this, Tucker too.

Now Biff is way too young for me. So I guess I'm in the pervy club.

It sounds so silly talking about literary crushes but I heard my daughter and friends talk about Hot cartoon characters so when you put it in perspective it's not too crazy.

I have made peace with myself thusly:

My inner seventeen year old paid attention.

Besides, MF is too old for her.

I thought Leonardo (you know, the turtle) was hot. He was a leader and had a lot of charisma.
