I have to say, this isn't my fave book. I call it close to the top for sheer funniness and closer to the middle for the story. And I really don't mind that someone would post a negative review. It's not going to be everyone's cup of tea (though that was an awful long review for someone who really didn't like the book).
However, I would say that that person just didn't get it. I mean how can you say that the idea that an angel could be stupid is stupid. Angels, as we all know from Dogma, don't have freewill. How could they not be stupid? They never got to have any trial and error with decision making. There was no, "That red spiral thing on top of the stove looks cool, I'm going to touch it. FUCK, it's hot!!!" for them.
My point being if you close your mind off to all ideas other than ones that you were presented with when you were five, there's not much out there for you. And what are you doing in SF? And can I have your apartment when you leave? _________________ Lynn, Reading Kafka in a hospital is generally redundant. Better just to wander the halls randomly opening doors.
