What the heck is that?

I'm sorry, but that looks more like a 'pregnant lady fetishist' sculpture then any sort of statment on abortion. I wonder how much detail the sculptor chose to use on the caboose side of things?

Makes me want to get a coathanger and rip my uterus out.
And I'm not even blonde, bleach or otherwise.

Quick, now, while they're distracted, RUN Z! RUNN!!

Thank you Deb for that observation. Uhh, there is NO WAY in HELL that she can give birth in that position. HELLO?? Gravity helps and let me tell you guys something. Laying in a hospital bed FLAT does not work either. Oooh, do not get me started!! Goddamn patronizing male obstetricians. Just squat dammit!

Umm, I have some issues about this.

Shocked

I believe you are correct about the squatting and I have volumes about that. Smile

It looks like a beautiful and realistic work of art. A trifle frank. That's all.

I've never been present when someone gave birth like that, HOWEVER, some gal who my wife has business dealings with, invited us to her twin's 1st bday party a couple years ago... the highlight of the party was watching a 1hour 17minute video of her giving birth like that... at home, on the rug that I happened to be sitting on... and yes, it was a bearskin rug... with head... just like dear sweet britney... yeah... this really makes for an awkward xmas party every year, because, well, quite frankly, when I look at her, all I can see is her ass in the air and while normally that would be a good thing, the image is always followed by the expulsion of the placenta...

yeah...

I'm with you on that one. The hospital bed position is for the doctor's benefit only. And it can kill the mother. Sheeeesh. I'm thinking a warm tub of water, some flute music in the background, a massage therapist rubbing my feet, and an epi for when the pain starts. Wink
