You are #1 on my list and will soon be at the NYT. Are you really coming back to Portland for Wordstock?

I'm corn-fuzed. I went to NY Times best seller list site for hard cover fiction and it lists the published date for the list as April 16th...ummmmm is that in the future? They also have Job at #11 (down from 8 the previous week which I presume would be the list published yesterday????) Can someone shed some light on this wackiness? Do we have to change what we call AG from his Nineness to his Elevenies? Why didn't we hear about his Eighter on the 1st? I am sooooooooooooooo corn-fuzed.

Oh here is the site addy:

For some reason the NYTimes bestseller list always tells you todays date. They just updated it; ADJ is #2 - and has supposedly been on the list for 10 weeks instead of the actual two. Maybe it's binary . . . in which case, it's #3!

Steve what are you looking at???? I'm seeing the same thing as derricka.

Derricka, the website says that it provides the list a week before it's in print; hence, the future date.

I hit the NY Times page directly, then the little teeny 'books' link on the left, then the 'fiction bestsellers' on the right. The URL above probably points to last weeks list.

#11 is correct.

Just did some comparisons. Anne Rice's "Christ the Lord" debuted in the top 10, then a week later it was in the low 20's. I'd say with only a two-place drop, ADJ is gonna have some serious staying power.

It's no coincidence that 9 is the best number ever.

Hooray for Chris!
