I had to think about it and walked around the house and then I went DOH! During my divorce, my ex-husband and I fought bitterly over our vinyl album collection. We had over 800 albums. *sigh* Anyway, in the end, I told him to keep the fucking things as long as I got two. I kept George Harrison's Living in a Material World and the original broadway recording Hair, an American Tribal Love-Rock Musical. I suppose my soul would end up in one of them. Probably the Hair album.

OMG, I love that album. I may have that somewhere as well. Is it this one?

That's it! I love it and love to sing along with it. Dammit, now if I only owned a record player to play it.

Mine would be a marcasite and garnet silver necklace I bought in Ireland. It's a locket, and inside I put a piece of white quartz I found in the dirt outside Newgrange (a neolithic tomb) and I also put in a tiny shard of a 5,000-year-old tree. I also have a little piece of my son's hair.

Either that or I'm just really impatient and/or spastic on the SUBMIT button. It does mean a lot to me, though, so who's to say?

We're all making a huge assumtion that we're walking around with souls. Odds are that at least some of us are yet to obtain one.

That next tchotski you acquire may well contain your soul.

Y's soul object is a pint of Ben & Jerry's Chunky Munkey ice cream that currently resides in the freezer case of a Winn-Dixie supermarket.

Mine would probably be my dragon necklace that I got for my 12th birthday and have worn every single day since then. I only take it off to shower, i even sleep with it on

truth be told I'm not really a big fan of Ben & Jerry's. They put too much crap in everything. I'm somewhat of a purist at heart. Secondly, I think I must be a really shallow person or something or just not really attached to this life. I really cannot think of anything.
